I woke up late today, about 45 minutes worth of late, and in my rush out the door for the last day at my current temp job I forgot breakfast. No big deal, there’s a café in the building that serves breakfast.

In my still sleep influences and low blood sugared brain I ordered an omelet and toast.
Halfway through I realize it has ham.

Tiny little pieces of inconspicuous and seemingly innocent ham. I’m not the kind of vegetarian/pescetarian to freak if I eat meat, but not having eaten it in about a year now I know that I’m gonna be in severe negotiations with my stomach for the rest of the day.

Curse you ham….curse yooooou….

Oh...yesterday I was at an intersection going home and suddenly there were flames a good 15 ft tall having a blast in the 50 mph wind gusts we had yesterday. I have never in my life seen a brush fire and it was one hell of a way to get aquatinted.

Two fire trucks and an ambulance later the light turned green and I continued on my way. Luckily, no one was injured.
